A native of the New England area, Sharon Rose moved to Missouri to be
near her family in 1988. Originally a cardiac and trauma nurse, she was able to realize a lifelong dream of retiring from
the nursing profession in 1999 in order to teach and train horses and students as a full time profession. As a highly successful
riding instructor and trainer, she has spent over thirty years studying, learning and managing the business of equestrian
care, barn operations, show competition and clinic administration. While she prefers to teach the combined three-day event,
Sharon is well versed in all of the English and Western riding disciplines. She offers individual as well as small group riding
lessons to students of all ages and abilities. She has a limited number of schooling horses available but welcomes students
who provide their own mounts as well. As a former nurse, Sharon is certified in first aid and stresses safety, for horse and
rider, in all aspects of training and riding. For more information, call Sharon at 573-268-4366 or 573-491-3009.
